If you are a history buff, Dover, NH has strong historical routes. Being settled in 1623, it was the first permanent settlement in New Hampshire and the seventh oldest in the United States. We have lots of wonderful antique homes, a museum and a relaxing riverwalk area...not to mention many fine shops downtown.
